After 16 minutes, Olov Matsson made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sportklubben's Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute Michel Tham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Tham in the 21st minute of play forced Sportklubben's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Tham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Sportklubben's Ivar Fernström got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 minutes, Fredrik Månsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hindås BF and the Sportklubben players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Hindås BF got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Månsson. Emanuel Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Isaksson in the 36th minute of play. Emanuel Andreasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Fernström in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes of play, Sportklubben's Ivar Fernström made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Andreasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hindås BF's Emanuel Andreasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Hindås BF from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Ivar Fernström put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Emanuel Andreasson.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Matsson to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niklas Isaksson in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Andreasson saved Hindås BF from getting behind. When Ivar Fernström came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Sportklubben fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Fernström couldn't finish the play. Tor Göransson lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 62nd minute, one of Sportklubben:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sportklubben. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Örjan Ek's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Michel Tham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ivar Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Hindås BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Månsson to maneuver through the defense. Ivar Fernström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Andreasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. When Eric Vennerkvist fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportklubben's protests and gave Eric Vennerkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Eric Vennerkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Olov Matsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hindås BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Matsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olov Matsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Olov Matsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Matsson in the 87th minute of the match. When Michel Tham came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Hindås BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Tham couldn't finish the play. Hindås BF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
