An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Broberg in the 27th minute of play forced Själevad RK's goalkeeper Tommy Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kåre Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Evert Andersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Själevad RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abousem fk the free kick. After a rather tough play, Själevad RK's Evert Andersson got a free kick in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Kåre Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abousem fk's supporters rose to their feet, but Kåre Petersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Lindgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Själevad RK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Kåre Petersson scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Lindgren, making the score, 1-0. After 40 played minutes Abousem fk got a freekick which was hit by Marc Runeberg. In the 41stth minute of the game Magnus Åkesson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abousem fk's Ivar Bergqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 42 played minutes Abousem fk got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Hökkvist. Tommy Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abousem fk's Ivar Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Åkesson in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kåre Petersson to strike the kick off in the second half. Simon Josefsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Lindgren. Själevad RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Själevad RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Nordlund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Petersson in the 60th minute of play forced Själevad RK's goalkeeper Tommy Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Abousem fk's Kevin Broberg got a free kick in the 61st minute. Alf Wassenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Eckegren in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, Abousem fk's Ivar Bergqvist got control of the ball when Alf Wassenius tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Själevad RK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alf Wassenius hit a great ball. If Magnus Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Abousem fk's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Wassenius came free, but Ivar Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Abousem fk had won after a very even match.
