The shot was stopped by Karl-Magnus Bergman but with some difficulty. Tobias Bocklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Tobias Bocklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Lindgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungaverk's zone, Magnus Åkesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Magnus Bergman came out of the goal and Magnus Åkesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Själevad RK booed when Ljungaverk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Forsman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gustav Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Själevad RK's Tommy Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Bocklund in the 43rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alf Wassenius got free with Karl-Magnus Bergman in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Bocklund made a kick off. Tommy Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Bocklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Magnus Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ljungaverk's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Bergman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Gustav Mattsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tommy Lindgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66thth minute of the game Tobias Bocklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Själevad RK's Tommy Lindgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl-Magnus Bergman came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Själevad RK's Magnus Åkesson. But to his dismay, Magnus Åkesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ljungaverk's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Bergman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
