Ulises Olivar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the match, Själevad RK's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Dalmai came free, but Tommy Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes of play, Galatasaray GS's Ginyo Mechenov made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Lindgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Magnus Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Olivar having to interfere. Ginyo Mechenov scored 2-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Lindgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Roberto Dalmai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Lindgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 37th match minute, Själevad RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Nordlund to maneuver through the defense. Magnus Åkesson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Jaroslaw Majkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melker Nordlund charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melker Nordlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Själevad RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Galatasaray GS:s goal. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Galatasaray GS's Roberto Dalmai got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tommy Lindgren. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Sven Björk made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Lindgren. Själevad RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Karl-Johan Soned fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Lindgren having to interfere. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Sven Björk sped through Själevad RK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Lindgren. 60 minutes into the game, Galatasaray GS's Jaroslaw Majkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Lindgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Freddie Sandström hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Galatasaray GS's goalkeeper Ulises Olivar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Wassenius. Jaroslaw Majkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tommy Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Dalmai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Lindgren having to make a save. Galatasaray GS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
