With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddie Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Hannes Finnman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börge Skoglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Hedberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Örtendal in the 23rd minute of play forced Semihioo FC's goalkeeper Eddie Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Nikoo Fc defense, Vilgot Brander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inge Hedberg. The Nikoo Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inge Hedberg should have stopped the shot. Nikoo Fc's Inge Hedberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Brander in the 33rd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vilgot Brander made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Börge Skoglund got free with Inge Hedberg in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Konrad Örtendal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alfred Groth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Nikoo Fc's Konrad Örtendal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eddie Eklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With his leg Inge Hedberg managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Semihioo FC's Börge Skoglund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eddie Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Örtendal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Vilgot Brander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Semihioo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilgot Brander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilgot Brander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inge Hedberg having to make a save. If Konrad Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Börge Skoglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vilgot Brander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Semihioo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Semihioo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
