Bo Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Sjöman in the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Abousem fk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Rudberg to maneuver through the defense. When Bo Josefsson came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Linderöd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Josefsson couldn't finish the play. Kåre Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sven-Oskar Asplund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Ove Eckegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Bo Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linderöd's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo Josefsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The Abousem fk fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Abousem fk's Kåre Petersson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 59 minutes into the match, Bo Josefsson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Abousem fk's Ivar Bergqvist. Ivar Bergqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Linderöd's Vincent Hamnberg got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Abousem fk's Ivar Bergqvist got control of the ball when Verner Sjöman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Ove Eckegren might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Oskar Asplund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Broberg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes of play, Abousem fk's Kåre Petersson made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Oskar Asplund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abousem fk's Karl-Ove Eckegren got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Linderöd getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Michel Kellberg hit a great ball. Kåre Petersson struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Sven-Oskar Asplund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abousem fk. Ivar Bergqvist was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Bo Josefsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bo Josefsson really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Abousem fk had won after a very even match.
