The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Börge Skoglund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan Stålman. Börge Skoglund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some careless play in the Roknäs defense, Börge Skoglund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Stålman. The Roknäs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Stålman should have stopped the shot. Vilgot Brander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Semihioo FC's Vilgot Brander in 11 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jan Stålman guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Eddie Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Åberg in the 17th minute of play. Semihioo FC's Eddie Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Åberg in the 22nd minute of play. Robin Vennerberg hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Vilgot Brander took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jan Stålman to make any attempt to save it. Vilgot Brander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vilgot Brander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Stålman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Brander in the 37th minute of play forced Roknäs's goalkeeper Jan Stålman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Semihioo FC's Vilgot Brander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Vilgot Brander made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Börge Skoglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Stålman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Stålman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Brander, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Robin Vennerberg charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robin Vennerberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Roknäs getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Robin Vennerberg hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Vilgot Brander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Semihioo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.
