In the 7th minute Kåre Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Eckegren in the 13th minute of play forced Semihioo FC's goalkeeper Eddie Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Ola Lundberg's late challenge caught a Abousem fk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Ola Lundberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Semihioo FC got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ola Lundberg. The supporters of Abousem fk booed when Semihioo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Finnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Ove Eckegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 minutes of play, Abousem fk's Karl-Ove Eckegren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eddie Eklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Börge Skoglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ivar Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilgot Brander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl-Ove Eckegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Eklund having to interfere. A collision led to Abousem fk getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Marc Runeberg hit a great ball. If Magnus Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Semihioo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Abousem fk were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilgot Brander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kåre Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Eklund having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Abousem fk's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Brander came free, but Ivar Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Finnman in the 59th minute of play. Börge Skoglund might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Bergqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Börge Skoglund ran back to his position shaking his head. Vilgot Brander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ivar Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Ove Eckegren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 70th playminute. Ivar Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Brander in the 76th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Abousem fk's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Brander came free, but Ivar Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Torbjörn Hökkvist fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abousem fk's protests and gave Torbjörn Hökkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Torbjörn Hökkvist hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Karl-Ove Eckegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eddie Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Kåre Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddie Eklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Ove Eckegren in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Karl-Ove Eckegren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Kåre Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Abousem fk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
