Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Linderöd's Bo Josefsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Ljungaverk got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Lindström. Karl-Magnus Bergman made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Verner Sjöman sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Oskar Asplund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bo Josefsson struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Karl-Magnus Bergman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linderöd. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Gustav Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljungaverk's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustav Mattsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Oskar Asplund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Bocklund in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Oskar Asplund saved Linderöd from getting behind. Gustav Mattsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Oskar Asplund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Mattsson in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Linderöd's Verner Sjöman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Magnus Bergman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ljungaverk defense, Verner Sjöman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Magnus Bergman. The Ljungaverk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Magnus Bergman should have stopped the shot. Gustav Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sven-Oskar Asplund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Verner Sjöman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linderöd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verner Sjöman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bo Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Magnus Bergman having to interfere. Karl-Magnus Bergman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Verner Sjöman in the 46th minute. With his leg Karl-Magnus Bergman managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Linderöd's Bo Josefsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Ljungaverk getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gösta Lindström hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Linderöd's Erland Flink tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Karl-Magnus Bergman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Linderöd's Sven-Oskar Asplund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Bocklund in the 57th minute of play. If Vincent Hamnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Magnus Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Sjöman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Bocklund in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The tension between the Ljungaverk and the Linderöd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ljungaverk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Linderöd the free kick. The supporters of Linderöd booed when Ljungaverk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Forsman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Bo Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linderöd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Josefsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Josefsson in the 88th minute of play forced Ljungaverk's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes, Ljungaverk's Zebastian Ekeberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Asplund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ljungaverk reached it. Karl-Magnus Bergman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Verner Sjöman went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.
