An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Nyström in the 39th minute of play forced Trönödal's goalkeeper Rickard Ferm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trönödal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oskar Nyström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Sverker Bjursell was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oskar Nyström in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rickard Ferm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rickard Ferm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oskar Nyström's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Michael Falck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Greger Lindmark made a huge save. In the 89th minute of the match Vilhelm Vollander sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rickard Ferm skillfully saved the ball. There was no doubt that Malmö FF were the better team. Malmö FF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
