In the 71st minute, Rune Rosendahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Farsta FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Torsten Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Andersson's late challenge caught a Farsta FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Farsta FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Åke Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Dahlman in the 89th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Runmarö got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Dahlman. Stig-Ove Dahlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Caspersson having to interfere. When the match was over Farsta FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Runmarö throughout the match.
