Per-Åke Hellbom hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Mighty Midgets FF's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Hellbom came free, but Alf Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elliot Eklund charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elliot Eklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Per-Åke Hellbom came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Racka FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Åke Hellbom couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alf Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Hellbom in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Kim Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racka FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Arvidsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Åke Hellbom struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Alf Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racka FF. Alf Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Hellbom in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racka FF's goalkeeper Olov Bergström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfred Mårtensson during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Mighty Midgets FF got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Mårtensson. A hard shot 92 in the game by Per-Åke Hellbom from a close distance when the talented Alf Eklund managed to make a qualified save. Mighty Midgets FF's players were relieved.
