Jan-Ove Lindström made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Karl-Oskar Söderlund sent off a good shot on target. When Trollhättan's Filip Markusson in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Despite this Jan-Ove Lindström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Karl-Oskar Söderlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Lindström having to interfere. A collision led to Trollhättan getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Joar Blom hit a great ball. After 41 minutes of play, Trollhättan's Karl-Oskar Söderlund made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Ove Lindström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filip Markusson to strike the kick off in the second half. There was no doubt that Trollhättan were the better team. Trollhättan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
