After 13 played minutes Langadas FC got a freekick which was hit by Tony Söderqwist. Seb Silver hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Måns Bergqvist struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Arman Walroth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amaranthus. Arman Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With an all-out effort, Langadas FC's Egon Stenqvist threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lennart Bergman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 24th minute of the match, Lennart Bergman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Egon Stenqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Egon Stenqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Esbjörnsson in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Karl-Oskar Mattsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Langadas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Egon Stenqvist made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Tony Ek sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the game, Langadas FC's Tony Ek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egon Stenqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. With 46 minutes on the clock, Henry Kämpe commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 47th minute, Henry Kämpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amaranthus's goalkeeper Egon Stenqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Måns Bergqvist's late challenge caught a Langadas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Måns Bergqvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Amaranthus getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Måns Bergqvist hit a great ball. After 52 played minutes, Langadas FC's Stig Esbjörnsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Egon Stenqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Langadas FC reached it. In the 55th minute Stig Esbjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Stenqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Emanuel Bokelund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Langadas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amaranthus the free kick. With an all-out effort, Amaranthus's Arman Walroth threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Birger Söderberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Snorre Knærkegaard during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Egon Stenqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute Tony Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Stenqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egon Stenqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Bergman in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Langadas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Amaranthus had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
