Gunnar Vassenius hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Maximilian Norberg charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximilian Norberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gilson Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Falk, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Johan Hultin kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Alex Eriksson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Horn FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Eriksson couldn't finish the play. Örebro United's Gilson Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelle Strömqvist in the 20th minute of play. Rickard Lindgren stood somewhat misplaced when Maximilian Norberg came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Örebro United's Gilson Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelle Strömqvist in the 29th minute of play. Maximilian Norberg in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rickard Lindgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximilian Norberg in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rickard Lindgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Horn FK's Rickard Lindgren got control of the ball when Maximilian Norberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximilian Norberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Nicklas Ahlgren in the 53rd minute really tested Gilson Gerber's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximilian Norberg in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rickard Lindgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 played minutes Horn FK got a freekick which was hit by Mats Falk. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Olof Grubb during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Örebro United getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Sven-Olof Grubb hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Strömqvist in the 59th minute of play forced Örebro United's goalkeeper Gilson Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximilian Norberg in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rickard Lindgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th match minute, Horn FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Strömqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Kurt Kullander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camillo Ceccon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rickard Lindgren. Horn FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tage Olsman kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Örebro United's Kurt Kullander got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilson Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Strömqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 89th minute, Horn FK's Pelle Strömqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 92nd minute, Örebro United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mats Falk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gilson Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Strömqvist in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Örebro United got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Norberg. Gilson Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Strömqvist in the 96th minute of the match. Örebro United were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
