Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arvid Rang got the match started through his kick off. When Mats Falk came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Horn FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Falk couldn't finish the play. Arvid Rang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Nicklas Ahlgren fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horn FK's protests and gave Nicklas Ahlgren a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Horn FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vassmol:s goal. Arvid Rang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Lindgren having to interfere. Karl-Magnus Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Vassmol got a freekick which was hit by Måns Groth. After a defensive mix-up in Vassmol's zone, Mats Falk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikard Stephansson came out of the goal and Mats Falk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jens-Ove Frisk fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vassmol's protests and gave Jens-Ove Frisk a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Vassmol got a freekick which was hit by Måns Groth. Alex Eriksson, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Horn FK's Pelle Strömqvist in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vassmol's goalie prevented a goal. Mats Falk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Stephansson having to interfere. Rikard Stephansson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pelle Strömqvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. When Horn FK's Pelle Strömqvist in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vassmol's goalie prevented a goal. Erling Bergendahl charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erling Bergendahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Vassmol got a freekick which was hit by Erling Bergendahl. Horn FK's Mats Falk got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pelle Strömqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Vassmol's Måns Groth got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute Mats Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rikard Stephansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Magnus Nyman during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rikard Stephansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Strömqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Mats Falk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pelle Strömqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Rikard Stephansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mats Falk came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Horn FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Falk couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Strömqvist in the 73rd minute of play forced Vassmol's goalkeeper Rikard Stephansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, one of Vassmol:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Horn FK. Alex Eriksson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rikard Stephansson. 2-1. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vassmol's goalkeeper Rikard Stephansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rikard Stephansson came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Horn FK's Pelle Strömqvist. But to his dismay, Pelle Strömqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The supporters of Vassmol booed when Horn FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mats Falk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Stephansson having to interfere. When Horn FK's Pelle Strömqvist in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vassmol's goalie prevented a goal.
