Spectators: 6524 (Terracing: 4643, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stefan Mogren took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Emanuel Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig-Arne Högberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Manfred Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Arsenal got a freekick which was hit by William Karlsson. Oscar Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Wiman in the 6th minute of the match. Stig-Arne Högberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Stefan Mogren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Björn Wiman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind IF Hisingen's goalkeeper Manfred Sandström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the match, Stig-Arne Högberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manfred Sandström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stefan Mogren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manfred Sandström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Oscar Sjögren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Billy Stenqvist went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Manfred Sandström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Arne Högberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Viktor Sandwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Arsenal's Oliver Lundström got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Oscar Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Stenqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Billy Stenqvist made the kick off in the second half. When Stig-Arne Högberg came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Arsenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig-Arne Högberg couldn't finish the play. Oskar Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. IF Hisingen's Manfred Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Mogren in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, IF Hisingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Fransson to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Mogren in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manfred Sandström saved IF Hisingen from getting behind. Stefan Mogren took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfred Sandström. Manfred Sandström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 67th match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Sandwall to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Emanuel Lundström managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. If Stefan Mogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oskar Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Sandström having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in IF Hisingen's zone, Stefan Mogren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Sandström came out of the goal and Stefan Mogren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stig-Arne Högberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Sandström having to interfere. If Stig-Arne Högberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Stefan Mogren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
