Paul Collin's late challenge caught a Lilywhites FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Collin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Surahammars IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Collin to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, Staffan Kjellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lilywhites FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Staffan Kjellkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Pontus Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Hugo Stephansson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Lilywhites FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Stephansson couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Svante Jonasson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Henry Ivarsson, passed just outside the right post.

The wind increased when Christoffer Boberg made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Paul Collin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Henry Ivarsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 55 minutes of play, Surahammars IF's Svante Jonasson made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Ivarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 61 played minutes Lilywhites FC got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Hedlund. Michel Åman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nils-Erik Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Collin hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes, Lilywhites FC's Bertil Hedlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nils-Erik Aleberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lilywhites FC reached it. Henry Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Malmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Henry Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Oskar Malmberg in the 71st minute of the match. Christoffer Boberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Lilywhites FC defense, Paul Collin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Ivarsson. The Lilywhites FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Ivarsson should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Lilywhites FC's goal looked a bit too open when Svante Jonasson came free, but Henry Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Sven-Oskar Malmberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henry Ivarsson.
