Rune Vallman made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Björn Wiman sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the game, one of Figeholm IK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rune Vallman went to the wrong direction when Jonas Holm was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Rune Vallman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Stenqvist in the 17th minute of play. Rune Vallman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Billy Stenqvist's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Dick Lingren fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 24th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. After 26 played minutes Figeholm IK got a freekick which was hit by Erik Björkkvist. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Figeholm IK's goalkeeper Rune Vallman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dick Lingren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Manfred Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Billy Stenqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Vallman was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Figeholm IK's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Isaksson came free, but Rune Vallman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Figeholm IK's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Stenqvist came free, but Rune Vallman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Figeholm IK's Rune Vallman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Stenqvist in the 54th minute of play. If Dick Lingren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rune Vallman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Stenqvist in the 62nd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Billy Stenqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Vallman. Figeholm IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Billy Stenqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Dick Lingren hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Billy Stenqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Vallman having to interfere. Dick Lingren struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Manfred Sandström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Figeholm IK. In the 81st minute, Billy Stenqvist made a precise shot to the right of Rune Vallman. Figeholm IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Billy Stenqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Vallman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Figeholm IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Lingren to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billy Stenqvist in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rune Vallman saved Figeholm IK from getting behind. Rune Vallman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Stenqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes of play, IF Hisingen's Billy Stenqvist made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rune Vallman was left in no man's land by his defense there!
