Stora Enso Legends's Kent Fransson got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mattias Christoffersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Vallman having to interfere. Per-Åke Åkerman struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Rune Vallman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stora Enso Legends. In the 22nd minute Josef Dahlqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Vallman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Mårtensson in the 26th minute of play forced Figeholm IK's goalkeeper Rune Vallman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Åke Åkerman in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Vallman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Åke Åkerman made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Stora Enso Legends's Osvald Mårtensson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rune Vallman. That made the score 0-2 after 52 minutes of play. Osvald Mårtensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rune Vallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Åke Åkerman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Rune Vallman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Figeholm IK's zone, Per-Oskar Malmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Vallman came out of the goal and Per-Oskar Malmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kent Fransson might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Vallman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Fransson ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Kent Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
