Dick Ahlström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oliver Askelöf having to make a save. Karl-Erik Hjelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Drăgoi in the 23rd minute of play. Haldun Kıvılcım fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Hjelm having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Herräng BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Drăgoi came free, but Karl-Erik Hjelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Herräng BK defense, Mugurel Drăgoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Erik Hjelm. The Herräng BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Erik Hjelm should have stopped the shot. The Herräng BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mighty Buccaneers were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mugurel Drăgoi was the one to do the kick off. Martin Palermo scored 0-6 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Erik Hjelm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 55 minutes, Kevin Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mighty Buccaneers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Hellström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Erik Hjelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haldun Kıvılcım, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Kenneth Kvick hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Herräng BK got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Högström. After 65 played minutes Haldun Kıvılcım rounded Herräng BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. Karl-Erik Hjelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Martino in the 70th minute of the match. Niklas Brandin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Karl-Erik Hjelm made a huge save. In the 76th minute Markus Stor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Hjelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haldun Kıvılcım fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Hjelm having to interfere. In the 80th play minute Haldun Kıvılcım came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Karl-Erik Hjelm. 0-8. Herräng BK's Karl-Erik Hjelm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Herräng BK from getting a goal against them.
