When Ludvig Tinglöv fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fegen RK's protests and gave Ludvig Tinglöv a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Ludvig Tinglöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes Fegen RK got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Hedlund. When Walter Ljungberg fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herräng BK's protests and gave Walter Ljungberg a yellow card for diving instead. Walter Ljungberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Brogren in the 39th minute of play forced Herräng BK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Hjelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Fegen RK's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Ahlström came free, but Chanop Pannacharoenruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dick Ahlström was the one to do the kick off. Dick Ahlström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Chanop Pannacharoenruk made a huge save. Herräng BK's Karl-Erik Hjelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Brogren in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Herräng BK's Georg Lilja seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Georg Lilja the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Herräng BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Georg Lilja had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 70th minute, one of Herräng BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Herräng BK. When Kristian Rosin came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Herräng BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Rosin couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Nils-Erik Apelqvist in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Herräng BK's Kenneth Kvick. In the 91st minute Aleksander Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Hjelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredrik Högström's late challenge caught a Fegen RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Högström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fegen RK booed when Herräng BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Högström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Fegen RK could leave the field as winners, despite Herräng BK having more of the ball for most of the match.
