The supporters of Pirates FC booed when Fegen RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Erik Apelqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Arne Brogren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirates FC's Folke Alebeck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Ragnar Forss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirates FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fegen RK the free kick. In the 19th minute, Ragnar Forss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingmar Gregersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Chanop Pannacharoenruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Forss in the 30th minute of play forced Fegen RK's goalkeeper Chanop Pannacharoenruk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arne Brogren got free with Folke Alebeck in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chanop Pannacharoenruk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Gustavsson in the 37th minute of the match. When Pirates FC's Joakim Gustavsson in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fegen RK's goalie prevented a goal. Joakim Gustavsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chanop Pannacharoenruk having to interfere. Ragnar Forss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Folke Alebeck was a little too slow when Aleksander Hedlund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ragnar Forss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fegen RK's Chanop Pannacharoenruk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Forss in the 56th minute of play. When Joakim Gustavsson fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirates FC's protests and gave Joakim Gustavsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pirates FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Joakim Gustavsson hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Arne Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Alebeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Alebeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Brogren in the 61st minute of the match. Aleksander Hedlund was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
