Spectators: 7010 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dick Ahlström got the match started through his kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Kristian Rosin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Råsunda IS's Torsten Lundström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kristian Rosin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dick Ahlström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Erik Hjelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Gustavsson in the 11th minute of play. Råsunda IS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Kristian Rosin scored to the left of an out of position Torsten Lundström, making the score, 1-0. In the 18th minute, Henry Gustafsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Råsunda IS's Torsten Lundström didn't even have to move. Torsten Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Ahlström, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Ahlroht during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Råsunda IS got a freekick which was hit by Charles Ahlroht. In the 23rd minute, Egil Bäckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torsten Lundström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viggo Dalberg in the 27th minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Mikael Gustavsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herräng BK's Karl-Erik Hjelm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Charles Ahlroht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mikael Gustavsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herräng BK's Dick Ahlström got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Råsunda IS got a freekick which was hit by Egil Bäckman. Charles Ahlroht kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikael Gustavsson made a kick off. Alex Holmberg charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Holmberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Holmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Råsunda IS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott Albohm to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Charles Ahlroht fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Karl-Erik Hjelm, passed just outside the right post. Råsunda IS's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Viklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Hjelm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mikael Gustavsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Karl-Erik Hjelm skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Karl-Erik Hjelm made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Charles Ahlroht sent off a good shot on target. Kenneth Kvick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Dick Ahlström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Lundström. Råsunda IS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dick Ahlström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Torsten Lundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Ahlström in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Herräng BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Arne Bäcklin to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th match minute, Råsunda IS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Herräng BK booed when Råsunda IS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Kvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Dick Ahlström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herräng BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Ahlström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Gustafsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Torsten Lundström. Råsunda IS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kristian Rosin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Alex Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes, Herräng BK's Henry Gustafsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Torsten Lundström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Herräng BK reached it.
