After a defensive mix-up in Råsunda IS's zone, Arne Brogren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Lundström came out of the goal and Arne Brogren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Mikael Gustavsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Råsunda IS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Gustavsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Råsunda IS's Chanop Pannacharoenruk threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elliott Albohm, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mikael Gustavsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Chanop Pannacharoenruk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Gustavsson in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chanop Pannacharoenruk saved Fegen RK from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Arne Brogren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Lundström. Råsunda IS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arne Brogren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Råsunda IS were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Fegen RK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johnny Viklund took the corner. Råsunda IS's Mikael Gustavsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chanop Pannacharoenruk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 33rd minute, Råsunda IS's Mikael Gustavsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chanop Pannacharoenruk. Chanop Pannacharoenruk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Sverker Kihlberg lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Sverker Kihlberg hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Johnny Viklund didn't quite understand what happened when in the 38 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikael Gustavsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Råsunda IS's Mikael Gustavsson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chanop Pannacharoenruk was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Gustavsson in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chanop Pannacharoenruk saved Fegen RK from getting behind. In the 67thth minute of the game Mikael Gustavsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fegen RK's Chanop Pannacharoenruk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Mikael Gustavsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Råsunda IS fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Råsunda IS's Mikael Gustavsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Fegen RK's Joar Söderberg got a free kick in the 75th minute. Chanop Pannacharoenruk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Råsunda IS fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Råsunda IS's Mikael Gustavsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chanop Pannacharoenruk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Gustavsson in the 91st minute of play. If Mikael Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Råsunda IS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
