After 3 played minutes Lillpitt IFK got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Viberg. With a little luck, Lillpitt IFK's Valter Nilsson got control of the ball when Karl-Michael Burman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Michael Burman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Valter Nilsson made a huge save. Valter Nilsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Kellberg in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Lillpitt IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Mager to maneuver through the defense. Christer Strömqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ludvig Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Mossberg in the 15th minute of play. Valter Nilsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Kellberg in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when Lillpitt IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Asmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lillpitt IFK's August Mossberg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Browald. In the 25thth minute of the game Erik Karlsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borussia Dortmund's Ludvig Eliasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 minutes, Christer Strömqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Dortmund and the Lillpitt IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Christer Strömqvist hit a great ball. Ludvig Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Mossberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Erik Karlsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludvig Eliasson was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After 30 played minutes Lillpitt IFK got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Mager. After a rather tough play, Lillpitt IFK's Bror Nyström got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Andreas Viberg kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when August Mossberg came free, but Ludvig Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludvig Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from August Mossberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludvig Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Mossberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Karlsson made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Ludvig Eliasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Karlsson. In the 66th minute, Vilhelm Mager got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valter Nilsson came out of the goal and Per Zachrisson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ludvig Eliasson made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Erik Karlsson sent off a good shot on target. David Koch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lillpitt IFK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
