The tension between the Söderbärke and the Alinder IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Söderbärke's Dennis Aspengren got a free kick in the 4th minute. Alfred Billvall's late challenge caught a Söderbärke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Billvall helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Alinder IK's zone, Göran Hedlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Sandell came out of the goal and Göran Hedlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Söderbärke booed when Alinder IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Tholsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Douglas Bållström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rudolf Bivall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Arne Alström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marko Sandell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agne Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Douglas Bållström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marko Sandell. The goal made the score 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, Douglas Bållström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marko Sandell, 2-0. Marko Sandell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agne Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agne Sandström to strike the kick off in the second half. Rudolf Bivall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rudolf Bivall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agne Sandström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marko Sandell having to make a save. A collision led to Alinder IK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rudolf Almkvist hit a great ball. Agne Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Sandell having to interfere. Bengt Sandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Åke Bållström got free with Dan Nordmark in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marko Sandell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agne Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Dennis Aspengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marko Sandell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Bivall in the 80th minute of play. 3-0 became the score in the 88th minute when Bengt-Arne Alström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 94th match minute, Alinder IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Hök to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Agne Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Sandell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Söderbärke players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
