Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arturo Otsoko made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Kreta getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Roger Linquist hit a great ball. If Octavio Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Toro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jan-Åke Norström 12 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Per-Olof Ödmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Patric Björklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the match, Lärbo's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Ödmann came free, but Patric Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patric Björklund came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Kreta's Per-Olof Ödmann. But to his dismay, Per-Olof Ödmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 24 minutes into the match, Roger Linquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patric Björklund. Lärbo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Linquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 29th minute, Alf Skräddare left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kreta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Roger Linquist kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Arturo Otsoko took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Jan-Åke Norström to make any attempt to save it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Linquist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Octavio Toro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patric Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Olof Ödmann in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lärbo's goalkeeper Patric Björklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Helge Delin during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Helge Delin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Lars Säv made a precise shot to the right of Patric Björklund. Lärbo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Säv in the 66th minute of play forced Lärbo's goalkeeper Patric Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patric Björklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Säv in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Kreta's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Otsoko came free, but Jan-Åke Norström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Otsoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Norström having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Varol Uzalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patric Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Säv in the 86th minute of the match. Wu Xi Peng struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jan-Åke Norström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lärbo. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kreta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
