After 18 minutes, Karl-Michael Tingberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UDDE FC and the Osby players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, UDDE FC's Karl-Michael Tingberg got a free kick in the 18th minute. Cyryl Rozanski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Åkerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Osby getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Holger Viklund hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Åkerman in the 29th minute of play forced Osby's goalkeeper Cyryl Rozanski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cyryl Rozanski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Åkerman in the 30th minute of play. Holger Viklund charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Holger Viklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Broberg in the 33rd minute of play forced Osby's goalkeeper Cyryl Rozanski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georg Lindmark tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Cyryl Rozanski. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 35th minute. Jim Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnny Broberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jim Åkerman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After recieving a nice pass, Osby's Georg Lindmark tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute 蔡坤奕 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Jelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. UDDE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Broberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cyryl Rozanski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Åkerman in the 85th minute of the match. When Johnny Broberg came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the UDDE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Broberg couldn't finish the play.
