The Torparna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Ekeberg should have stopped the shot. After 16 minutes, Valentin Stolpe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torparna and the Höganäs BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Höganäs BF's Helge Söderberg was substituted for Kent Blomberg. After 16 played minutes Torparna got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Stolpe. Viggo Björkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the game, Eidvilas Markūnas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Henry Ekeberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the game, Adrian Hellström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Henry Ekeberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Adrian Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höganäs BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Hellström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Ekeberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Höganäs BF booed when Torparna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Frykberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Höganäs BF's John Larsfelt tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Johnny Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Höganäs BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Åström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henry Ekeberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eidvilas Markūnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Torparna got a freekick which was hit by Vilgot Bäcklin. In the 45thth minute of the game Eidvilas Markūnas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torparna's Henry Ekeberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Biörkman got free with Jim Kamps in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Eidvilas Markūnas put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Henry Ekeberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Adrian Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höganäs BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Hellström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Ekeberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnny Åström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Torparna defense, Thomas Uggstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Ekeberg. The throw-in from Valentin Stolpe in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Höganäs BF's Johnny Åström. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Eidvilas Markūnas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 78 minutes into the match, Torparna's goalkeeper Henry Ekeberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Hellström. Torparna's Henry Ekeberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Åström in the 80th minute of play. Henry Ekeberg stood somewhat misplaced when Eidvilas Markūnas came free in front of goal and shot 0-12 to the left of him in the 83 minute. After 86 minutes of play, Höganäs BF's Viggo Björkman made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Ekeberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Höganäs BF's Eidvilas Markūnas got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Henry Ekeberg managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Höganäs BF's Johnny Åström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Adrian Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höganäs BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Hellström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
