After some careless play in the Enskede-Årsta IF defense, Columbo Noya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Vennerkvist. The Enskede-Årsta IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Vennerkvist should have stopped the shot. Columbo Noya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. John Vennerkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Enskede-Årsta IF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Wiman came free, but John Vennerkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Planetstaden IK's goalkeeper Gregory Pegrum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiph Vallander. Tony Nordström lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 20 played minutes Planetstaden IK got a freekick which was hit by Tony Nordström. The audience held their breath when Mårten Haström in the 21st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Gregory Pegrum's left hand side. Planetstaden IK's Columbo Noya got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Jan-Ove Stensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Gregory Pegrum successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th minute, Columbo Noya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John Vennerkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Filiph Vallander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gregory Pegrum made a huge save. John Vennerkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Columbo Noya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Planetstaden IK were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Columbo Noya made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Columbo Noya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Enskede-Årsta IF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Joachim Vase hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Planetstaden IK's John Vennerkvist threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Columbo Noya, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Jan-Ove Stensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Enskede-Årsta IF booed when Planetstaden IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Kinnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jan-Ove Stensson came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Enskede-Årsta IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Ove Stensson couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute of the match Enskede-Årsta IF got a corner. Planetstaden IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan-Ove Stensson ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Columbo Noya in the 72nd minute of play forced Enskede-Årsta IF's goalkeeper John Vennerkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Planetstaden IK's Karl Wiman got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregory Pegrum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Stensson in the 78th minute of play. Planetstaden IK's Gregory Pegrum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börge Olsmann in the 84th minute of play. The Enskede-Årsta IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Planetstaden IK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
