The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Elfenbenskusten BK's Vilgot Åman got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Grettir Randversson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alf Gerdberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos de Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alf Gerdberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos de Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, Junsele's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos de Amorim came free, but Alf Gerdberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Carlos de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Gerdberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Junsele's Dag Wallgren got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 15 played minutes, Elfenbenskusten BK's Roy Västlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alf Gerdberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Elfenbenskusten BK reached it. The supporters of Elfenbenskusten BK booed when Junsele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Lekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Vestberg in the 23rd minute of the match. When Viktor Vestberg fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Junsele's protests and gave Viktor Vestberg a yellow card for diving instead. Alf Gerdberg didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Elfenbenskusten BK's Carlos de Amorim shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 36th minute, Elfenbenskusten BK's Vilgot Åman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vilgot Åman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Elfenbenskusten BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vilgot Åman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Elfenbenskusten BK's Vilgot Åman got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute Carlos de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Gerdberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Vestberg was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 46th minute, Alexander Lekberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Junsele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos de Amorim to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Elfenbenskusten BK defense, Birger Lidman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Arce. The Elfenbenskusten BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Arce should have stopped the shot. Carlos de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Junsele got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Hamberg. Junsele's Alf Gerdberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos de Amorim in the 69th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Junsele got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Nordstedt. After having played for 76 minutes, Roy Västlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elfenbenskusten BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roy Västlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Junsele's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Grettir Randversson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Elfenbenskusten BK's Carlos de Amorim got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Carlos de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Elfenbenskusten BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos de Amorim couldn't finish the play. Elfenbenskusten BK's Felipe Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Wallgren in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Junsele's zone, Carlos de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Gerdberg came out of the goal and Carlos de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Elfenbenskusten BK defense, Alexander Lekberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Arce. The Elfenbenskusten BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Arce should have stopped the shot.
