In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stornäset FF's goalkeeper Alvar Bäckman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 16 minutes, Knut Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stornäset FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Johansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Stornäset FF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Junsele were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Åke Nordstedt made a kick off. Alvar Bäckman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Åke Nordstedt went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Sven-Åke Nordstedt hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, Junsele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Kilman to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Lekberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alvar Bäckman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvar Bäckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Åke Nordstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, Stornäset FF's Alvar Bäckman got control of the ball when Alexander Lekberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alf Gerdberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Boman in the 76th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Junsele got a freekick which was hit by Christian Kilman. Alvar Bäckman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Lekberg in the 90th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Stornäset FF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Nordstedt came free, but Alvar Bäckman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Junsele walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
