Färgfemman FF's Aron Kolberg got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fc Malmö's Anton Glanselius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Malmö from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Tord Söderqwist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anton Glanselius. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Tord Söderqwist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Glanselius having to interfere. Tord Söderqwist might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Glanselius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tord Söderqwist ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 19 minutes, Tord Söderqwist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Färgfemman FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tord Söderqwist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Klas Helberg made a precise shot to the right of Anton Glanselius. Fc Malmö's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tord Söderqwist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Glanselius having to interfere. Rasmus Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 26 minutes, Robert Nyman mouthed his way into the referee's book. Klas Helberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Anton Glanselius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aron Kolberg's late challenge caught a Fc Malmö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Kolberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fc Malmö booed when Färgfemman FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Kolberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th match minute, Fc Malmö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Nyman to maneuver through the defense. Färgfemman FF's Isaac Jespersson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Anton Glanselius but with some difficulty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klas Helberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Staffan Lundberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Per-Arne Anundsson. The goal made the score 3-1. In the 62nd minute Tord Söderqwist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klas Helberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Färgfemman FF's Tord Söderqwist in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Anton Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tord Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Aron Kolberg kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Anton Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Söderqwist in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Färgfemman FF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fc Malmö had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
