Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Vollander to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Vilgot Tidén could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Anton Glanselius however easily saved by the left post. If Benjamin Vollander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Vollander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Glanselius having to interfere. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Vilgot Tidén sped through Fc Malmö's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anton Glanselius. Benjamin Vollander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Vilgot Tidén managed to get in a good position for a shot. General Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilgot Tidén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Glanselius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The General Eagles supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing General Eagles would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
