In the 47th minute, Kenny Carlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronny Sillén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Kenny Carlberg came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Stockholm Nord fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenny Carlberg couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Hisingen FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Carlberg came free, but Ted Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Claes Kristiansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stockholm Nord's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hisingen FK the free kick. Ove Brun might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andy Månsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ove Brun ran back to his position shaking his head. Kenny Carlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Stockholm Nord players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
