Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronny Sillén took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Vidman in the 3rd minute of play forced Hisingen FK's goalkeeper Ted Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ted Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Wiklund in the 9th minute of the match. After 15 minutes, Frank Vidman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glimåkra IF and the Hisingen FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Frank Vidman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glimåkra IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Ronny Sillén scored to the left of an out of position Patrik Eckegren, making the score, 1-0. After 19 played minutes Hisingen FK got a freekick which was hit by Greger Magnusson. After 20 played minutes, Glimåkra IF's Joar Lindell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ted Mårtensson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glimåkra IF reached it. If Robert Böcklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joar Lindell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Mårtensson having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Hisingen FK's Ove Brun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrik Eckegren. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. Harry Wiklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ted Mårtensson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harry Wiklund ran back to his position shaking his head. Ted Mårtensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harry Wiklund's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes, Ove Brun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hisingen FK and the Glimåkra IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Glimåkra IF booed when Hisingen FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harry Wiklund to strike the kick off in the second half. Joar Lindell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ted Mårtensson made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Joar Lindell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glimåkra IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ted Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Wiklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Hisingen FK defense, Joar Lindell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ted Mårtensson. The Hisingen FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Mårtensson should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute Harry Wiklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Wiklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ove Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hisingen FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ove Brun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Eckegren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, Hisingen FK's goalkeeper Ted Mårtensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joar Lindell. After 82 minutes, Anders Boström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hisingen FK and the Glimåkra IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harry Wiklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ted Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Joar Lindell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Wiklund in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ted Mårtensson saved Hisingen FK from getting behind.
