After 16 played minutes Fc Malmö got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Nyström. Ted Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Staffan Lundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Anton Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Carlberg in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Ted Sundberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute Ted Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Staffan Lundberg couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the game, one of Stockholm Nord:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Andy Månsson, was totally fooled by Fc Malmö's Per Edström, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ted Sundberg made a kick off. Per Edström charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per Edström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Fc Malmö:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stockholm Nord:s goal. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Stockholm Nord. Claes Kristiansson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anton Glanselius. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Stockholm Nord's Roger Linberg got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Stockholm Nord got a corner. Fc Malmö's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claes Kristiansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Stockholm Nord's Claes Kristiansson to fire away a dangerous shot which Anton Glanselius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 78 played minutes Stockholm Nord got a freekick which was hit by Harald Vibjörnsson. Kenny Carlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Sundberg in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Staffan Lundberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fc Malmö's Staffan Lundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Stockholm Nord's Hampus Nordin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Staffan Lundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Andy Månsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenny Carlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Anton Glanselius made a huge save.
