Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when William Törnqvist kicked off to start the match. If William Törnqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell Löfkvist during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Ålem RK got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Löfkvist. William Törnqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Mårtensson having to interfere. In the 10th minute, William Törnqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ålem RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Joakim Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Sillén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Boström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joakim Olsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Ted Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Törnqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Hisingen FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Sjö came free, but Ted Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Hisingen FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Hellsing to maneuver through the defense. Ludwig Sjö kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ålem RK's Joakim Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Ålem RK from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute Gösta Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Gösta Lindgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ålem RK booed when Hisingen FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Hellsing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joakim Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Sillén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gösta Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Törnqvist in the 48th minute of play forced Hisingen FK's goalkeeper Ted Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Hisingen FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ålem RK were winning 0-1.

Dag Hellsing hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. A hard shot 54 in the game by William Törnqvist from a close distance when the talented Ted Mårtensson managed to make a qualified save. Hisingen FK's players were relieved. In the 56th match minute, Hisingen FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Brun to maneuver through the defense. Tim Örtlund's late challenge caught a Hisingen FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Örtlund helped the player get up and apologised. Tim Örtlund hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match Edward Dahlbom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joakim Olsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Ludwig Sjö managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ålem RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludwig Sjö was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When William Törnqvist came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ålem RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Törnqvist couldn't finish the play. After 72 played minutes Hisingen FK got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Flink. Gösta Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ted Mårtensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Törnqvist in the 79th minute. Joakim Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Brun in the 80th minute of play. Ted Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Lindgren in the 83rd minute of play. Ronny Sillén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Olsson having to interfere. Ted Mårtensson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Magne Beck. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gösta Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ålem RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gösta Lindgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Mårtensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hisingen FK's Greger Magnusson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Peter Haström, made in the 95th minute of the game. Ted Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Sjö, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ålem RK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
