Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ted Sundberg kicked off to start the match. General Eagles's Kjell Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Carlberg in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, General Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Carlberg came free, but Kjell Lindqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 51st minute, Benjamin Vollander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The General Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Vilgot Tidén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Vollander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Månsson having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Sundberg in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell Lindqvist saved General Eagles from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Rickard Molander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Stockholm Nord's Claes Kristiansson tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute Ted Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenny Carlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The General Eagles fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stockholm Nord had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
