Vidar Ennegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Tolsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Vidar Ennegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Drake in the 20th minute of the match. Sven-Ove Stenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Vidar Ennegren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Fagersta BF getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dag Hellbom hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Fagersta BF's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Öberg came free, but Vidar Ennegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vidar Ennegren came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Bottnaryd IFK's Tor Tolsson. But to his dismay, Tor Tolsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Edvard Källberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Apelkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Bottnaryd IFK's Edvard Källberg got control of the ball when Dag Hellbom tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Fagersta BF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sören Böcklund hit a great ball. After the first half Bottnaryd IFK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tor Tolsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Apelkvist in the 52nd minute of play forced Bottnaryd IFK's goalkeeper Edvard Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvard Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Apelkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Fagersta BF's Vidar Ennegren got control of the ball when Tor Tolsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdemar Öberg scored 3-4 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vidar Ennegren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Bottnaryd IFK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
