Karl-Michael Dahlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herman Lund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Michael Dahlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Herman Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Dahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Norrmalms IF booed when The Dicks BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Gudmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthias Hjelm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herman Lund. The Dicks BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Tage Hedberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herman Lund. Tage Hedberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 33rd match minute, The Dicks BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristoffer Gudmundsson to maneuver through the defense. Herman Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tage Hedberg in the 36th minute of the match. A hard shot 37 in the game by Joakim Bennet from a close distance when the talented Herman Lund managed to make a qualified save. The Dicks BK's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Hjelm in the 40th minute of play forced Norrmalms IF's goalkeeper Håkan Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, The Dicks BK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Dahlberg came free, but Herman Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Karl-Michael Dahlberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Dicks BK's Herman Lund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Håkan Pettersson made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Egil Hernström sent off a good shot on target. If Tage Hedberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in The Dicks BK's zone, Tage Hedberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herman Lund came out of the goal and Tage Hedberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 played minutes The Dicks BK got a freekick which was hit by Karl Eklund. 89 minutes into the game, Karl Eklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Dicks BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norrmalms IF the free kick. In the 90th minute, Matthias Hjelm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herman Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Hedberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
