Lars Hellqvist made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Jens-Ove Ferm sent off a good shot on target. If Sven-Ove Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Bredberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niklas Söderquist went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 12 played minutes Äng got a freekick which was hit by Robin Sikström. After 15 minutes of play, Sala BF's Niklas Söderquist made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Bredberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, Niklas Söderquist notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Äng's Victor Bredberg. Victor Bredberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Zachrisson in the 20th minute of play forced Sala BF's goalkeeper Lars Hellqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Ove Hansson in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Bredberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Sala BF defense, Jens-Ove Ferm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Hellqvist. The Sala BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Hellqvist should have stopped the shot. Lars Hellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Zachrisson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isac Pihlgren in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Hellqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ola Jernberg in the 44th minute of the match. A hard shot 47 in the game by Jens-Ove Ferm from a close distance when the talented Lars Hellqvist managed to make a qualified save. Sala BF's players were relieved. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niklas Söderquist to make the kick off. Victor Bredberg made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Sven-Ove Hansson sent off a good shot on target. Walter Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Victor Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Håning in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Äng's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Söderquist came free, but Victor Bredberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isac Pihlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Ove Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Bredberg having to interfere. Lars Hellqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robin Sikström went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Jens-Ove Ferm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alf Svanér received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lars Hellqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Bredberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Niklas Söderquist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 72 minute of play. The supporters of Äng booed when Sala BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Hedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Sigvard Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Bredberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Söderquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Äng's Victor Bredberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Äng from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Äng's Frank Zachrisson got a free kick in the 81st minute. Äng's Victor Bredberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Söderquist in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Sala BF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. John Håning hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Jens-Ove Ferm put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Lars Hellqvist. 90 minutes into the game, Niklas Söderquist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victor Bredberg. Niklas Söderquist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-5. Victor Hedin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Jens-Ola Jernberg struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Victor Bredberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sala BF. The Sala BF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
