The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 12 minutes, Adam Ståhlberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skärgårdsstads FF and the Smedjebacken players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Skärgårdsstads FF got a freekick which was hit by Adam Ståhlberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Sebastian Erserman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smedjebacken's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Erserman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Österberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Samuelsson in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Österberg saved Skärgårdsstads FF from getting behind. Evert Stenqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, George Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smedjebacken's supporters rose to their feet, but George Samuelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Österberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th match minute, Smedjebacken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Friberger to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Österberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Erserman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 46 minutes, George Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smedjebacken's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Samuelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when George Samuelsson made the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Erserman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. George Samuelsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sebastian Erserman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Österberg having to interfere. George Samuelssons short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Douglas Österberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Sebastian Erserman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Skärgårdsstads FF's Hampus Brummer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Trulsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Samuelsson in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Österberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fredric Örtendahl charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredric Örtendahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute Hampus Brummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Trulsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, George Samuelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Österberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hampus Brummer in the 87th minute of play forced Smedjebacken's goalkeeper Inge Trulsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Smedjebacken's George Samuelsson in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skärgårdsstads FF's goalie prevented a goal.
