The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Nils Fredriksson made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Billy Beckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Nerd FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Forss came free, but Manfred Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredrik Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Bernt Boman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64 minutes Nerd FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anders Andersson who took care of the corner kick. Nerd FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Bernt Boman scored to the left of an out of position Manfred Axelsson, making the score, 0-2. After having played for 73 minutes, Nils Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nerd FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Viberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Ivarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Manfred Axelsson made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Sjöbo FF's Manfred Axelsson threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hans Forss, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sjöbo FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
