Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernt Boman got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Sjöbo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Rutger Söderqwist came free, but Joel Viberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Joakim Bergström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åkersberga BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sjöbo FF the free kick. Joakim Bergström hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Sjöbo FF's goalkeeper Joel Viberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredrik Dahlqvist. Hans Forss kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Rutger Söderqwist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Viberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sjöbo FF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rune Berg hit a great ball. Rutger Söderqwist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rune Berg's late challenge caught a Åkersberga BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rune Berg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sjöbo FF's Rune Berg got a free kick in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Sjöbo FF's Joel Viberg got control of the ball when Fredrik Dahlqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 23 played minutes Sjöbo FF got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Larsfelt. Rutger Söderqwist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell Stenström came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Sjöbo FF's Bernt Boman. But to his dismay, Bernt Boman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Åkersberga BF's Joakim Bergström got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Joakim Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Viberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Fredrik Dahlqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Viberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Joel Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Söderqwist in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Sjöbo FF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rune Berg hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Patric Torsberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sjöbo FF's Joel Viberg didn't even have to move. Joel Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Dahlqvist in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sjöbo FF defense, Fredrik Dahlqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Viberg. The Sjöbo FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Viberg should have stopped the shot. Rutger Söderqwist struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Joel Viberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åkersberga BF. After a defensive mix-up in Sjöbo FF's zone, Fredrik Dahlqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Viberg came out of the goal and Fredrik Dahlqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Sjöbo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Rutger Söderqwist came free, but Joel Viberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Fredrik Dahlqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sjöbo FF's Joel Viberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Åkersberga BF's Fredrik Dahlqvist got a free kick in the 80th minute. Fredrik Dahlqvist was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Åkersberga BF's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match Jim Håkansson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Viberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fredrik Dahlqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Viberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Dahlqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Fredrik Dahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Viberg having to interfere.
