Spectators: 7251 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Henrik Martinsson kicked off to start the match. Nils Fredriksson took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joacim Asserlind. Joacim Asserlind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Billy Palm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joacim Asserlind made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Nils Fredriksson sent off a good shot on target. Manfred Axelsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Wallander went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Djävlar FC booed when Nerd FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Palm didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Henrik Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djävlar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Martinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfred Axelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Wallander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manfred Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Wallander in the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Djävlar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Fredriksson came free, but Joacim Asserlind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nerd FC were furious when George Näver was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 41 minutes into the game, one of Nerd FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lars Barck shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Nils Fredriksson made the kick off in the second half. Nerd FC's Manfred Axelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Nerd FC from getting a goal against them. After 67 played minutes Nerd FC got a freekick which was hit by Billy Palm. In the 70th minute Henrik Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manfred Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Martinsson in the 71st minute of the match. Nils Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Joacim Asserlind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joacim Asserlind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Qvarnström in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Nerd FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils Fredriksson. Kennet Gullesson hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Nils Fredriksson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joacim Asserlind skillfully saved the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Djävlar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Qvarnström came free, but Joacim Asserlind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Nerd FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Martinsson came free, but Manfred Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Djävlar FC to win.
