After some careless play in the FC Zadran defense, Rune Berg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charlie Danielsson. The FC Zadran fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charlie Danielsson should have stopped the shot. FC Zadran's Jörgen Lundberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Henry Forsman, made in the 7th minute of the game. FC Zadran's Manfred Gabrielsson got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Zadran's Charlie Danielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Forss in the 16th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Edmund Sundberg put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Sjöbo FF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Edmund Sundberg hit a great ball. Rune Berg charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Berg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rune Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulf Sefastsson during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, FC Zadran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Sefastsson to maneuver through the defense. If Fredrik Ivarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Sjöbo FF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manfred Gabrielsson made a kick off. Fredrik Ivarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Charlie Danielsson made a huge save. Ulf Sefastsson kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Sjöbo FF's Joel Viberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Kollberg in the 62nd minute of play. Per-Åke Nordal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Viberg having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, FC Zadran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. Charlie Danielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, Jonas Andersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Andersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Joel Viberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Andersson in the 79th minute of play. Joel Viberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Andersson's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Per-Åke Nordal's late challenge caught a Sjöbo FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Åke Nordal helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes FC Zadran got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Nordal. Jonas Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Viberg having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Jonas Andersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Joel Viberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
