Joel Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Hedberg in the 6th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Hans Forss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sjöbo FF and the Syrianska Falcons players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hans Forss kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Joel Viberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Hedberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasper Larsfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Knutsson having to interfere. Edgar Hedberg hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fredrik Ivarsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonas Knutsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Fredrik Ivarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Dan Clementsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 minutes, Fredrik Ivarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. Bernt Boman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Knutsson having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Ove Hellbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Ivarsson got free with Jonas Knutsson in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Boman in the 44th minute of play forced Syrianska Falcons's goalkeeper Jonas Knutsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Knutsson having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernt Boman was the one to do the kick off. Syrianska Falcons's Jonas Knutsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Ivarsson in the 53rd minute of play. Jonas Knutsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Ivarsson in the 62nd minute of play. Joel Viberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthon Hellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Syrianska Falcons getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Anthon Hellkvist hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Einar Åström during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Einar Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernt Boman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Knutsson having to interfere. If Edgar Hedberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernt Boman hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
