Lars Barck was slow to take the kick. During this time Djävlar FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Djävlar FC's corner Erik Wallander fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedrão Cardoso quite easily take care of the ball. After 6 played minutes Nora IFK got a freekick which was hit by Rune Rudqvist. Pedrão Cardoso made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Kennet Gullesson sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Djävlar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Stenquist came free, but Joacim Asserlind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joacim Asserlind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Stenquist in the 13th minute of play. Pedrão Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Svensson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Djävlar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nora IFK the free kick. Ian Olsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joacim Asserlind. Djävlar FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Karl-Magnus Svensson came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Nora IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Magnus Svensson couldn't finish the play. Joacim Asserlind stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrei Korol's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Karl-Magnus Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Joacim Asserlind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Jens-Ove Svensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Djävlar FC's Erik Wallander in 36 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Pedrão Cardoso guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Joacim Asserlind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Korol, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Torgny Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Henrik Hökqvist in the 42nd minute really tested Pedrão Cardoso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Karl-Magnus Svensson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Nora IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Magnus Svensson couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrei Korol to make the kick off. Joacim Asserlind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Korol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute of the match Nora IFK got a corner. Djävlar FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ian Olsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 55 played minutes Djävlar FC got a freekick which was hit by Erik Wallander. Ian Olsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Joacim Asserlind made a huge save. A collision led to Djävlar FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Claes Wiklund hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Ian Olsson sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Joacim Asserlind threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ian Olsson this time. After having played for 60 minutes, Andrei Korol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nora IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrei Korol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Nora IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Martinsson came free, but Pedrão Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Korol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Asserlind having to interfere. If Karl-Magnus Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrei Korol struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Joacim Asserlind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nora IFK. In the 69th match minute, Djävlar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennet Gullesson to maneuver through the defense. Nora IFK's Karl-Magnus Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nora IFK's Bernt Lindgren got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Nora IFK's Rune Rudqvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Henrik Hökqvist, made in the 76th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Nora IFK's Andrei Korol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 84 minutes into the game, Djävlar FC's Henrik Martinsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrão Cardoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Joacim Asserlind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Stenquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Karl-Magnus Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nora IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Magnus Svensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joacim Asserlind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Nora IFK booed when Djävlar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
